NEW SAFETY PROTOCOLS FOR COVID-19
To our clients, our community, our tribe, and the teams of our franchise partners, we want to assure you that your health and safety is our top priority, as always.

With over 50 years of combined experience in the cleaning and sanitization industry, Mint Maids™Canada continues to implement stringent safety programs and protocols during this time. Working with our sister company, Group Six Twelve, which services some of Southern Ontario’s top corporations keeping them safe such as Stryker Canada and Hamilton Health Sciences, we are well versed in how to clean for health.

We have amped things up in several ways to ensure that we are taking every possible precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

WHAT WE ARE DOING
We continue to amp up our disinfecting procedures and safety protocols for the wellbeing of our tribe and our clients. To ease safety concerns, we are:

  • All of our tribe members will be wearing disposable gloves, face masks and will be carrying hand sanitizer.

  • We already increased our scrutiny in hand-washing and sanitization throughout daily operations.

  • Our techs put on fresh gloves before entering your home.

  • Continuing as usual with Contactless Payment - provided via our easy online booking system that allows for debit (Visa Debit) and credit card payments to be processed after your visit.

  • Upon entering, we'll ask you to seclude yourself in one area of the home, so that we can clean the rest of it OR to please wear a mask when present in a room with our technicians.

  • Option for a Contactless Visit - wherein you can provide us with instructions for entry or leave us a key, and we will service your home while you are out. Most of our clients aren't home when we visit, FYI.

  • We are continuing the exclusive use of our Enviro Care Neutral Disinfectant that has been approved by Health Canada to kill human coronaviruses in general.

  • We have implemented an additional level of TouchPoint cleaning in our current clients' homes. This has meant spending extra time and care with TouchPoint Cleaning and disinfecting - a system of cleaning that focuses on high-traffic touch points using our disinfectant.

  • Between each in-house visit, our tribe of techs is thoroughly disinfecting the entire cleaning kit with a hospital-grade disinfectant called, Benefect. Including caddys, spray bottles, vacuum, and all other equipment that may enter a home to provide the cleaning service.

  • Our current microfibre program, which is how we roll on a typical day, means that each home we service gets a fresh, clean bundle of microfibres for use. Cloths are colour coded for each room in the house to eliminate contamination between areas/rooms.

  • Employee screening EVERY morning. Before each tech sets out for their daily schedule, they must pass the following Screening Questions:

Do they have a temperature over 38 and/or new onset of cough or difficulty breathing?
Have you traveled anywhere outside of Canada within the last 14 days?
Have you had close contact with someone with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19?
Have you had close contact with someone with acute respiratory illness who has traveled outside Canada in the last 14 days?
IF ANYONE ANSWERS YES TO ANY OF THE QUESTIONS, THEY HAVE FAILED THE SCREENING.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
Many of you have shared your thankfulness and faith you have in our tribe to take care of your home. You have no idea how that moves us and we are truly thankful for your support.

If you or your family has answered "yes" to any of the above questions, please cancel your visit and we will happily reschedule it for you.

Stay healthy! We've got this!
